This FREE event offered the opportunity to tour innovative green homes and buildings, and see how solar energy works in our area. Visitors were able to talk with homeowners about their solar systems and experiences throughout the process. Many of the host sites also shared examples of other green elements they have included in their homes like EVs, native gardens and heat pumps. Residents also popped over to the Deer Creek Racquet Club to learn about the array on the building and for community solar answers.
We would like to offer a special thank you to the City of Highland Park for their collaboration, promotion of the event and sponsorship of the host signs.
