Free 2024 Garden Learning Series continues at 6:00pm CT online only

Matt Ueltzen is the Manager of Restoration Ecology for the Lake County Forest Preserves.  He has been with the Forest Preserves for 24 years and manages the District’s prescribed burn and reforestation programs.  He also works on various habitat restoration projects including wetland restoration, farmland conversion, and invasive species management such as the eradication of buckthorn which we will talk about today.
